Location
Chameleon Hill Lodge is situated on a hill between Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park and Mgahinga National Park. The lodge looks out over the waters of Lake Matunda with the Virunga volcanoes offering it a mystic backdrop. The lodge is comprised of chalets built in un-identical structures and painted with different colours – the ‘chameleon’ name is synonymous with the variety of colours composing the lodge.
Overview
Chameleon Hill lodge is a complex of 10 luxury chalets, each abounding in uniqueness, colour and character. Each chalet is equipped with a state of the art ensuite bathroom and showers. All chalets have private gardens and they all share mesmerizing views across the Lake and volcanoes.

Luxury chalets
The luxury chalets have self-contained rooms each having; an ensuite bathroom with hot water and bathroom amenities, double or single beds, mosquito nets, torches, extra blankets, television and a private balcony. All the rooms are decorated distinctively with an array of happy colours.
Dining, bar and lounge
The Lodge’s kitchen is famous for preparing mouth-watering dishes prepared from handpicked ingredients, fresh fruits and vegetables from the deliberately grown garden. The kitchen covers all dietary requirements; gluten-free, vegetarian, lactose intolerant and vegan foods. The lodge bar is fully stocked with all beverages and famous wine, spirits and gin brands. The wine list is dominated by South African, French and Australian brand. The lounge comprises of cosy and comfortable armchairs, sofas and couches. The area is lit with an array of colours and the gentle warmth from the fireplace makes it more inviting.
Solar power supply
Chameleon Hill Lodge has a supply of solar electricity which provides light to all its chalets. You can do all your overnight tasks in full electric light. You are saved from the hustle of depending on the demoralizing support of a waning kerosene lamp.
