Mweya safari lodge is a luxury lounge Located on mweya peninsula within the heart of the Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mweya Safari Lodge is gulfed by the magical legendary Mountains of the Moon.

To the east, it lies to the Great Rift Valley hills, separated from the Mountains of the Moon by the meandering Kazinga Channel. Where water flows endlessly into two giant lakes – Lake George and Lake Edward.

Enjoy the cocktail in the Swimming Pool overlooking the Kazinga Channel. The pool at Mweya Safari Lodge has an awesome view of the Kazinga Channel, which separates the two Lakes thus George and Edward.

The pool bar will always have someone on duty to meet your needs and to quench your thirst, the bar lies on the wooden sun deck’s loungers is a perfect way to enjoy the warmth of Africa.

Queen Elizabeth National Park has 95 species of mammals, 600 species of birds and a variety of wildlife species supporting the ecological system. The Kazinga Channel itself has the world’s largest concentration of hippos.

Other wildlife includes lion, warthogs, buffalo, rare aquatic sitatunga antelope, giant forest hog, Uganda kob, topi, waterbuck, elephant and leopard.
