Location & overview
Primate Lodge Kibale is an elegant safari accommodation facility situated in the heart of Kibale National Park. The lodge is the ideal getaway for a chimpanzee – primate trekking experience. Primate Lodge Kibale is comprised of nine luxury cottages, seven standard cottages, one spectacular tree house and a camp site. All the cottages are self-contained with ensuite bathroom facilities and private verandas looking out into the dense forest. The facility has a main lodge which has a restaurant, well stocked bar, a lounge and a mini library.

Facilities
Self-contained cottages
The lodge features both luxury and standard cottages, all well furnished with double/king size beds, a sitting area with comfortable chair, ensuite bathrooms and a private veranda looking out into the forest for each cottage.
Restaurant, bar and lounge
Primate Lodge Kibale has a main lodge which features a Restaurant where both local and exotic dishes are served. The restaurant offers an exuberant view of the lush greenery and an occasional sight of the resident primates.Adjacent to the restaurant is a well-stocked bar which has all sorts of drinks and beverages; coffee, tea, water, sodas, wines, spirits, bears, and many others including exotic and premier brands.The lodge has an elegant and alluring open lounge featuring cosy sofas, chairs and cushions. The lounge is the ideal place to relax and unwind while enjoying the cool breeze and the chattering of the various monkey species inhabiting the dense forest.
Solar power supply
With the main aim of conserving nature, the lodge uses a solar system to supply power and lighting in all its facilities. Kerosene lamps are used in the instance of a power shortage. Recharging phones and other devices is done at the main lodge.
Running water
The lodge has a good supply of running water in all its facilities including both hot and cold water in the ensuite bathrooms.
